Job Summary

Tor Can ICI Roofing Inc is seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and execute welding process specifications to meet industry standards and company requirements.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications to maintain quality control.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment to cut and shape metal as required.
  • Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines to prepare metal for welding.
  • Fabricate and repair metal parts and products using welding, brazing, and soldering techniques.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in welding, fabrication, or a related field.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination to ensure quality workmanship.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
