About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder - Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Red Seal Vending Inc. As a key member of our fabrication department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of metal fabrication and welding services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Interpret welding process specifications and ensure accurate execution
    • Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
  • Quality Control
    • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications
    • Perform quality control checks on fabricated metal parts and products
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
    • Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with fabrication team members to achieve production goals
    • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and minimize downtime
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The Welder - Fabrication Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. The physical demands of the role include:

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication
  • Strong understanding of welding processes and techniques
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
