About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at NOODLEBOX. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces are cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards.
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize and wash items by hand as needed.
  • Food Preparation
    • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Waste Management
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure all waste is disposed of in a responsible manner.
  • General Kitchen Duties
    • Assist in the maintenance of a clean and organized kitchen environment, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
Work Environment

As a Kitchen Assistant at NOODLEBOX, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of physical activity. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work under pressure to meet the demands of our kitchen.

    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
