About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team at Liberty Kitchen Saskatoon. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Load buspans and trays.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
  • Package take-out food.
  • Portion and wrap foods.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a team. You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
