Job Role: Senior Java Application Developer

Description:

The Desjardins Solutions team at Renaud Consulting IM/IT Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Java Application Developer to join their squad. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing and integrating large-scale software solutions using modern technologies.

Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement software products using Java, following good development practices and technical designs provided.


• Work closely with the team to understand business intentions and objectives, and contribute to the development of implementation strategies.


• Document technical solutions to ensure sustainability and prepare training for peers and consumers.


• Provide technical support for IT operations, analyzing complex issues and ensuring their resolution.


• Validate and perform test cases to ensure complete coverage of changes made by the project.


• Assist in the installation and testing of software packages or implementing applications.

Requirements:


• 5 years of experience in web development, specifically in Java environments.


• Knowledge of Java web environments, databases, and SQL language.


• Experience with REST service concepts, development frameworks, and support tools.


• Knowledge of the Desjardins Portal, AccèsD applications, and the Desjardins technological environment.


• Ability to learn and integrate quickly, with a strong analytical mind and teamwork skills.
