Key Responsibilities
  • Designing and implementing systems to support the game's technology and tech consistent with the Rainbow Six brand
  • Addressing technical issues and bugs to ensure a smooth game development workflow
  • Ensuring seamless integration of systems with the game engine, editor, or middleware while maximizing efficiency
  • Proposing new technologies to improve video game production pipelines
  • Using reverse engineering to realign tools and technologies with the game's direction
  • Programming in a clear and structured manner while respecting performance, maintenance, modularity, extensibility, and compatibility requirements
  • Monitoring performance and memory budgets, adjusting as needed
Requirements
  • 5+ years of software programming experience
  • Strong proficiency in C#
  • Experience with Unity or other game engines
  • Experience in tool design and implementation

  • Knowledge of networking protocols
  • Knowledge of version control systems such as Perforce or Git
  • Game development experience - hobby or professional
