Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide a comprehensive assessment of clients and develop individualized treatment plans.
  2. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care.
  3. Implement treatment plans and safely administer medications.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date progress records according to legal and ethical standards.

The ideal candidate will hold a graduate degree from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training or completion of a recognized Advanced Care Paramedic program. They must be licensed as a Practical Nurse or Advanced Care Paramedic in the Province of Nova Scotia, possess current basic CPR certification, and demonstrate recent clinical experience including medication administration and leadership duties.
