Job Title: Automotive Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Automotive Assistant to join our team at Metro Freightliner Hamilton Inc.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Assistant will provide support to our mechanics and tradespersons in the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and vehicles. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mechanics and tradespersons with maintenance and repair tasks
  • Move tools, equipment, and other materials as required
  • Clean machines and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
  • Help with tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and inventory management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Will train
Work Environment:

The Automotive Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of experienced mechanics and tradespersons. The successful candidate will be required to work in confined spaces, handle heavy loads, and work in a noisy and dusty environment.
