Are you ready to take on a new challenge in retail management? We are looking for a skilled Store Manager to join our team at Dollarama L.P. in Canada. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily retail store operation, overseeing visual merchandizing activities, performance management, recruitment and training of new employees, scheduling and inventory management. You will also ensure that the standards of the store are in line with company guidelines and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Daily Operations: Oversee all store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and strategies.
  2. Lead Team Members: Lead, motivate, and develop store staff to achieve performance goals.
  3. Maintain Visual Merchandizing: Help with store merchandizing, shelf stocking, and unboxing daily shipments.
  4. Resolve Customer Issues: Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve complex issues.
  5. Ensure Store Standards: Implement and maintain visual merchandizing standards based on company strategy.
  6. Manage Cash and Inventory: Perform cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
  7. Hire and Train Employees: Provide employee performance feedback as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in the retail industry.
  • Minimum of two (2) year experience in a team management position.
  • Open availability required (day, evening, weekend).
  • Excellent communication and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive compensation, bonus plan, and benefits package, as well as a company matched pension plan. Additional pay includes bonus pay. Flexible schedule and casual dress allowed.
