Job Title: Food Service Manager for Gino's Pizza

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Manager to join our team at Gino's Pizza. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our food service department.

About the Role:
  • Lead and manage a team of food service staff, ensuring that they have the necessary training and support to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet business demands and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals and objectives, such as improving customer satisfaction and increasing revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Evaluate employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching to improve skills and productivity.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of quality control, ensuring that food products meet our brand's reputation for excellence.
  • Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain optimal stock levels.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, food service management, or a related field.
  • At least 7 months of experience in a food service management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment like a restaurant or cafe.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
