About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia Support Coordinator to join our team at the Alzheimer Society of B.C. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by dementia.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering support and education programs, ensuring consistency with the Society's strategic plan. Key responsibilities include planning and implementing programs, coordinating workshops, and providing one-to-one telephone support to individuals with dementia and their caregivers.

Requirements
  • A post-secondary education or relevant degree in health or social services
  • 3-5 years of experience in a health or social agency related function
  • Extensive knowledge of Alzheimer's disease/dementia and caregiving issues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling, including evening and weekend work

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $54,500-$62,400 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
