Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Parts Technician to join our team at Manitoulin Transport. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, processing orders, and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including parts cataloging and electronic inventory systems.
  • Process orders and invoices, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts to customers.
  • Operate a forklift and other equipment as required to move stock and materials.
  • Conduct cycle counts and stock usage forecasting to ensure accurate inventory levels.
  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized stockroom.
  • Collaborate with mechanics and other team members to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive or transportation industry.
  • Valid Class G driver's license and asset.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift medium-weight objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
