We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at SHIPCART DISTRIBUTION SERVICES. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
- Journal Entry Preparation: Prepare and post journal entries, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
This is a permanent position with a 40-hour workweek. The language of work is English.
