Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at BC Cancer. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of innovative cancer treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat patients with various types of cancer, including hematological, lung, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, brain, and head and neck cancers.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the cancer journey.
- Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance cancer care.
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Eligibility to complete the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) through the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Minimum of four (4) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
- Reimbursement for the cost of the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
