Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at The Royal Ambassador Event Centre and The Consulate Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, and physically demanding.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
