We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Child Care Provider to join our team at Woodview Child Care. This is a permanent position with the opportunity for overtime.

Job Summary

This role involves caring for a multi-aged group of children in a day care centre or nursery school setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Childcare Duties: Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, including changing diapers, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and organizing activities such as games and outings.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to children, ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Emotional Support: Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing patience, understanding, and empathy when needed.
  • Household Management: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Personal Qualities: Reliability, teamwork, time management, patience, honesty, and a commitment to child development.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with multiple children, handling tasks that involve up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) of weight, and being available for overtime shifts.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is between $40,000 and $50,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages to ensure the well-being of our staff.
