Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Store Manager II to lead our retail operations at the Coast Guard Exchange. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a high-volume store, supervising a team of employees, and driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a retail store with annual sales exceeding $14 million.
  • Supervise and direct a team of employees to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Assist customers with purchases and resolve any issues or complaints.
  • Interview, hire, train, and develop employees to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer engagement.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and ensuring accurate stock levels.

Requirements:

  • Two years of experience as a department manager or assistant manager in a retail environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Prior experience with P&L analysis and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior retail merchandising experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Current USCG NAF assistant store manager II or store manager I experience.
