Job Responsibilities:

  • As a seasoned data professional at TalEx, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ETL processes for large-scale data warehouses using Power Center and Power Exchange.
  • With extensive experience in Informatica tools, Designer, Workflow Manager, and Repository Manager, you will be able to create, maintain, and monitor ETL jobs to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
  • Additionally, you will work on tuning mappings, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels, and maintaining and monitoring Informatica jobs in a production support role.
  • Experience in UNIX shell scripting and writing scripts for calling pmcmd command, file watcher, FTP, and file archiving will also be beneficial.
  • As a data management professional, you will also work on Agile Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and Release Management by undertaking Agile Methodology's Sprints.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of IT experience in Data Warehouse Environment in System Analysis, Design, Development, and Testing fields of Data Warehousing and Client server technologies.
  • Expertise in ETL tool Informatica 9.x, 8.x, Power Center, and Power Exchange.
  • Proficient in writing complex PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Performance tuning, Application tuning, and Query Optimization using Hints, Explain plan.
  • Hands-on experience in tuning mappings, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in various levels, and maintaining and monitoring Informatica jobs.
