At StandardAero, we strive for excellence in all aspects of aviation. We are seeking a skilled Controller Assistant to join our team, focusing on financial operations and management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Participate in the creation of the annual operating plan, planning expenses and working capital.
  • Prepare monthly finance control panels, analyzing sales, GM, expense, and TWC variance.
  • Provide financial guidance to other functional groups within the business unit.
  • Manage business unit p-card review and approval process.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for the completion of the annual audit.
  • Monitor and administer company financial policies and procedures.
  • Lead or participate in special projects.

Your Qualifications:

  • High degree of business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Team player who thrives in a challenging environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience building and interpreting financial models.
  • Recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA) or close to achieving a designation.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • 3-8 years of experience, including review of reconciliations, month-end, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Degree or diploma in business administration, commerce, economics, or related field.
