Job Summary

A.K. Landscaping Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and construction of outdoor spaces, ensuring they are safe, beautiful, and functional.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Plan and direct grounds maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing.
  • Plan and estimate labor and materials for landscape construction projects.
  • Organize and direct the construction of decks, decorative or retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
  • Plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, ensuring it is completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Supervise nursery and greenhouse workers to ensure they are meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
  • Attention to detail is essential to ensure high-quality work.
