Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team at IV MIDTOWN RENOVATION INC. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in various tasks related to construction, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling forms and scaffolding, and mixing and pouring materials.

Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
Requirements
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
  • Will train on the job
  • Permanent employment opportunity
  • 30-40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
