Accounting Technician Role
Mokx Professional services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a focus on financial record-keeping and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma in accounting or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
Work Environment:
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
