As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide spiritual care and support to patients, families, and staff in our Cape Breton Area - Eastern Zone.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

* Visiting patients and assessing their emotional and spiritual care needs
* Providing emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families
* Collaborating with local clergy and faith leaders to provide spiritual care and support
* Participating in multi-disciplinary rounds and case conferences
* Maintaining accurate records and documentation

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* A minimum of one Basic Unit in Clinical Pastoral Education as endorsed by the Canadian Association of Pastoral Practice and Education
* Affiliation and endorsement by a recognized faith group
* Demonstrated leadership ability, organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
* Commitment to continuing education
* Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
