Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare engineering designs and drawings using CAD software
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements and ensure accuracy
  • Supervise and train other drafting personnel to ensure high-quality work
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and construction specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets

Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
