Café Manager

At Monaco cafe, we are seeking a skilled Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in budget analysis and restaurant management.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
- Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies
- Evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget
- Monitor revenues to determine labour cost
- Monitor staff performance and provide feedback
- Plan and organize daily operations to meet customer demands
- Recruit and train staff to ensure high-quality service
- Supervise staff to ensure health and safety regulations are followed
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Client focus, dependability, and reliability
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and provide support to colleagues
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Gratuities and permanent employment
- 35 to 40 hours per week
