Electrical Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at B.J. Electric Motor & Control Limited. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative and general maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment in industrial and marine environments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform inspection on equipment and provide detailed reports.
- Install, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment independently, with other technicians or with client aided assistance.
- Test, commission, program, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, retrofit and install medium and low voltage equipment.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician in a similar role.
- Mechanical Experience would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety practices related to electrical work.
