We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced RV Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining RVs to ensure they are safe, reliable, and in optimal working condition. From routine maintenance tasks to complex repairs, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality service to our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as suspension maintenance, caulking units and brake inspections
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues accurately and efficiently
- Repair or replace defective parts and components using appropriate tools and techniques
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations
- Collaborate with team members and Service Manager to prioritize workload and meet service deadlines
- Completing pre-delivery inspections
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience as an RV technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of RV systems, components, and repair techniques
- Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Any RVDA certification is a plus
- Proficiency in carpentry skills, including but not limited framing, trim work, cabinetry, and finish carpentry
- Demonstrated experience with woodworking tools and machinery
