BMC Remedy Developer

IT Chapter is seeking a skilled BMC Remedy developer to collaborate on implementing requests and initiatives associated with the software. This role is expected to last approximately 6 months with the possibility of renewal.
Key Responsibilities
• Integrate monitoring into systems using advanced technology.
• Integrate configuration elements into the ITSM tool. Configure monitoring tools and infrastructure surveillance systems.
• Test and validate all aspects of the process, including a thorough understanding of procedures and the features of the BMC Helix tool, which should be able to correlate alerts in the form of incidents.
• Integrate configuration elements with existing ITIL processes. Ensure that event management is integrated transparently with other ITSM processes such as incident management, problem management, and change management. Effective integration will ensure a coordinated and consistent response to incidents.
• Establish monitoring mechanisms to evaluate the performance of ITSM event management against defined objectives. Use this information to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and adjust processes and tools accordingly.
• If possible, experiment with event analytics using artificial intelligence.
• Validate with the BMC Helix expert/integrator, the monitoring team, critical service owners, and managers, the suitability of the configured process in BMC Helix with the needs for alerting and prioritizing events.
