Assistant Resident Manager

We're seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Assistant Resident Manager at Skyline Group of Companies. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of building common areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of all halls, air vents, light fixtures, emergency lights, fire extinguishers, landings, entrance, elevators, laundry room, and office area.
  • Assist in building management and office administration, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.
  • Respond to tenant inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct and/or supervise all on-site activities in accordance with Skyline's specifications and applicable legislation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve effectively.
  • Good maintenance and cleaning skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
  • Knowledgeable about repair and general maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and remain detail-oriented.
  • Good judgment and innovation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
  • PC skills are an asset, with proficiency in Word, Excel, email, and web applications.
  • Previous sales experience is an asset.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or 5 years of work-related experience.
  • Previous experience renting apartments and assisting tenants is required.
  • Experience in sales or a related field is an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation respecting residential tenancies in Ontario and the rights and obligations of landlords and tenants is an asset.
