Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join our team at HM International Consulting Limited. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong financial management skills to lead our company's financial operations.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily financial operations. This includes overseeing the collection and analysis of financial data, preparing reports, managing contracts, and performing human resources-related duties such as personnel selection. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to maintain accurate financial records, establish and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and conduct performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budgeting and Financial Planning: Plan and control budget and expenditures, establish and implement policies and procedures, design and manage investment strategies, monitor financial control systems.
  • Financial Management: Oversee the preparation of reports, manage contracts, keep financial records, and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Human Resources: Perform human resources-related duties such as personnel selection, conduct performance reviews, assign, coordinate, and review projects and programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in financial management, preferably in a consulting firm or financial management/services environment.
  • Excellent financial planning and analysis skills, including experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computerized bookkeeping systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Compensation and Benefits

This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary of $250,000 per year, paid in CAD (Canadian Dollars). The working hours are 35 hours per week, and the language of work is English. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a pension plan and paid time off.
