Job Summary

As a Technical IT Project Manager at Trisotech, you will be responsible for leading one or more project teams in a collaborative mode and interdependence with other projects. You will work closely with business project directors and the project office to monitor and finance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Plan and coordinate all activities of the team projects and suppliers under your responsibility in relation to the execution of projects.
  2. Specify and confirm the mandate with the client and evaluate the resources needed for the project.
  3. Perform risk analysis, recommend and implement contingency plans to ensure the success of the project.
  4. Prepare and lead regular meetings by supporting team members, monitor results to be produced, respect deadlines with each stakeholder and agreements with internal customers and external suppliers.
  5. Write project progress reports for all stakeholders concerned and report results.
  6. In an agile context, facilitate the work of carrying out the project, monitor progress and stimulate team engagement.
  7. Work and collaborate with other project managers as part of a program of projects that are interdependent.
  8. Manage the capacity of your resources.
  9. Communicate needs and expectations well and collaborate fully with the architecture, infrastructure, integrators and production team.
  10. Prepare and write RFIs, select and organize meetings with potential suppliers and draft RFPs in collaboration with stakeholders.
  11. Maintain an unwavering business focus and understanding of the current strategic direction of the client's technologies.
  12. Be responsible for reporting to the authorities concerned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in administration, information systems option or the equivalent.
  • Five (5) years of minimum relevant experience involving IT project management with a very good understanding of the business side, finance and/or insurance, management of suppliers, calls for tenders and RFPs, management documentary, etc.
  • Certification in project management (PMP) – asset.
  • Knowledge of RUP methodology – asset.
  • Knowledge of the SCI Forma tool in project management – asset.
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written French.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships in a very structured environment.
  • Excellent communicator, you exercise influential leadership promoting cohesion between work teams as well as the evolution of projects.
  • Ability to carry out several projects with tight deadlines.
