Job Overview

UPS is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to join our team as a Personal Vehicle Courier. As a courier, you will be responsible for delivering packages to customers in residential areas using your personal vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve packages from UPS facilities and load them into your personal vehicle.
  • Deliver packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Interact with customers to ensure their satisfaction with the delivery service.

Requirements:

  • Valid class 5 driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Excellent customer contact and service skills.
  • Must be willing to use personal vehicle to transport and deliver packages.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Vehicle registered in candidate's name.
  • Valid vehicle insurance.

Approved Vehicle Features:

  • Current vehicle registration.
  • Current car insurance coverage.
  • 4-door sedans and hatchbacks (mid-size or larger).
  • Minivans, SUVs.
  • Vans must have a covered and secure bed.
  • Must comply with all provincial and local regulations.

Compensation:

  • Hourly rate: $17.30/hour + $1.20/hour bonus.
  • UPS will reimburse you $0.59 for each kilometer you drive.
