Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Specialist to join our team at 10851698 Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing database systems, collecting data to identify areas for improvement, and implementing strategic blueprints for database deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop database systems to meet business needs
  • Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategic blueprints for database deployment
  • Develop and maintain computer databases
  • Document customers' requirements for projects
  • Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals
  • Enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access data
  • Liaise with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability
  • Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools
  • Setup IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases
  • Test data models and database management systems
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in database development and administration
  • Advanced knowledge of database management systems and software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
