Job Summary:
The Service Lot Attendant is a key member of the Brian Jessel BMW Service team, responsible for delivering a professionally cleaned vehicle to our customers. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare customer vehicles for service, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized service wash bay, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with service drive-thru staff, service advisors, and valet to update vehicle status and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Identify and report any vehicle damages before washing, ensuring accurate documentation and minimizing potential issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the service team.
Requirements:
- Valid BC Driver's License, Class 7 or Class 5, and ability to provide driving abstract.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to cooperate with various departments.
- Detail-oriented and able to withstand working in a semi-outdoor environment.
- The ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits:
$20.00 per hour, with opportunities for growth and development within the company.
Work Environment:
Brian Jessel BMW operates Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, and Sunday and statutory holidays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
