Teaching Opportunity in Computer Science and Engineering

We are seeking a qualified educator to join our team as a Computers, Engineering, and Robotics teaching position. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer science, engineering, and robotics, and will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses to students in grades 9-12. Course Load and Responsibilities The teaching staff will be responsible for teaching 4 courses per semester, with a focus on computer science, engineering, and robotics. The courses will include: * ADST – COMPUTER STUDIES * ADST - Electronics and Robotics * COMPUTER PROGRAMMING * ENGINEERING 11 / ROBOTICS 11/12 Requirements and Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Bachelor of Education degree and be certified to teach in British Columbia. Priority will be given to applicants who are certified to teach in British Columbia. The successful candidate must also be eligible to be employed in Canada. About Our School Khalsa School is an independent Sikh school located in Surrey, British Columbia. Our school offers a unique educational experience that includes education in the Sikh Faith, but successful applicants will only be required to teach the BC Curriculum. Benefits and Compensation The starting salary for a BC or Canadian certified teacher is $5800/month. Canadian teaching experience is recognized and will increase the starting pay.
