Job Title: Geographic Information Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist to join our team at A&F Di Carlo Construction Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating maps and related graphs and charts, planning map content, format, and design, and compiling required data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate maps and related graphs and charts using GIS software
  • Plan and design map content, format, and layout
  • Compile data from aerial photographs, survey notes, records, reports, and other maps
  • Maintain and manage digital databases
  • Process data to conduct basic analyses of trends
  • Write specifications and technical reports
  • Apply quality control procedures
  • Inspect final compositions
  • Perform data entry and verification
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in GIS or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of GIS software and spatial analysis techniques
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
