Electrical QA/QC Lead Job Description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/QC Lead to join our team in Fort St. John. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our electrical installations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct electrical inspections and testing to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure high-quality electrical installations
  • Collaborate with project engineers and site superintendents to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure their quality and safety expectations are met
  • Prepare and submit quality reports and documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrical and/or instrumentation certificate is an asset
  • Minimum of 2 years QA/QC experience on an industrial project
  • Must have previous electrical/instrumentation experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector
  • Bluebeam, Navis Works, and Excel experience would be a asset
  • Ability to manage a fluctuating workload and set priorities to meet deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable electrical codes, standards, and regulations
  • Must have a flexible work schedule - shift work, overtime, and weekends
  • Ability to travel would be considered an asset
  • Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven dedication to safety
  • Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), and CSTS 2020 & Driving and Journey Management Certificates
