Salary Information

We offer a competitive pay rate for this contract role, with an estimated annual salary of $85,000-$105,000 CAD based on industry standards and the location in Milton, ON.

About the Role

This mechanical designer position involves working with LV Power Distribution Products, specifically switchboards and switchgear. As a result, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in 3D modeling software, such as Autodesk Inventor 2018, and apply your knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable CSA & UL Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical systems for LV Power Distribution Products;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and efficiency;
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed;
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues to optimize performance;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics) or Diploma in Mechanical Technology;
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of prior technical experience with LV Power Distribution Products, preferably in Manufacturing or Design Engineering capacity;
  • Highly proficient user of 3D modeling software, such as Autodesk Inventor 2018 or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC and related software, including MS Office Suite;
  • Experience using and interpreting the Canadian Electrical Code and applicable CSA & UL Standards;
