The Role
As a Healthcare Product Development Manager, you will drive the vision outlined by the Solution and Development Directors, ensuring overall requirements and product readiness. Your key focus areas will include:
- Owning and refining the product line feature backlog
- Defining return on investment for all business requirements
- Creating market-facing Value Statements and Value Wedges for Products, in conjunction with Marketing
- Driving initiatives from concept to delivery
- Identifying and collaborating on Best Practice workflow changes
- Communicating Service Training updates from Best Practices to Solution Directors
- 3rd party vendor product support/integration
- Sales and Client Engagement:
- Client Portal
- Sales Operations, Client Service Executives, RFP Responses and Demo Support
- Managing Client Forums strategy defined by Portfolio
- Research and Problem Identification
- Market Research and Trends:
- 3rd party vendor relationship and contract management
- Ensuring a prioritized and ready backlog (6 months)
- 6 month product line roadmap
- GTM planning and pricing
- Business Cases & Competitor Analysis
- Contribution:
- P&L Analysis for Product Portfolio
- Scope Management decisions with Solution Directors
- Demos & documentation
- Identification of whitespace opportunities
- 3rd Party procurement licenses and contract renewal
- Key Skills:
- Market research
- Strategic planning
- Stakeholder management
- Product lifecycle management
- Strong Communication and negotiation
- Project management
- Preferred Skills:
- Physician/Pharmacist license
- Registered nurses (RN), LPN
- Recent experience as Product Manager from EHR companies - last 3 years
- Clinical experience of at least 6-8 years
- Expertise in the areas of Medication Administration, Orders and Results, and Clinical Documentation
Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
