About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness and Sports Instructor to join our dynamic team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services (CFMWS). As a key member of our organization, you will have the opportunity to lead Fitness, Sports, and Aquatics programs for a highly motivated and professional clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, and assess Tactical programs based on established employment standards to ensure the members of the Canadian Armed Forces can safely and effectively perform their duties in operations.
  • Prepare and conduct physical fitness training sessions, instruct health and physical fitness training modules, and apply policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Evaluate physical fitness, lifeguarding, and swim instruction, as well as officiate and coach sports.
Requirements
  • College diploma or certificate in Physical Education, Exercise Physiology, Exercise Sciences, or a related field.
  • Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification.
  • Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate.
  • Experience in preparing and conducting physical fitness training sessions, instructing health and physical fitness training modules, and applying policies, procedures, and regulations.
