Job Title: Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Construction Supervisor to join our team at Plam Finishing Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, labourers, and other personnel to ensure the successful completion of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of up to 4 people, including painters, decorators, and labourers.
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all personnel have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and tools.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Recommend personnel actions and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a noisy environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors, in a variety of weather conditions, and in a fast-paced environment.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Term

This is a permanent position.

Hours of Work

The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week.
