Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Sterling Kitchens & Bath Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, supervising workers, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and submit production reports to management
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, cabinetmakers, apprentices, and labourers
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all workers are properly trained
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure that all workers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Set up and maintain equipment and tools
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed
  • Recommend personnel actions to management
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Requisition and order materials and supplies
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced construction environment with a team of experienced professionals. The work schedule will be 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime required to meet project deadlines.

Language

The primary language of communication will be English.
