About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Coordinator to join our team at Dean Group, a leading real estate developer in Canada. As a key member of our Development team, you will play a crucial role in facilitating planning and coordination for land development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the Development team with planning for specific use of land and property development for residential, industrial, hotel, and retail projects.
  • Take ownership of all regulatory duties such as re-zoning, development permits, site plans, and building permits.
  • Research zoning ordinances, construction regulations, and environmental restrictions.
  • Assist in coordinating the work of architects, engineers, construction companies, and property managers.

Requirements:

  • Two (2) years minimum experience in the residential real estate industry, multi-family residential, and mixed-use projects.
  • An understanding of real estate valuation and finance.
  • Previous exposure to the analysis, acquisition, entitlement, development, and marketing of residential land.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a bonus structure and RRSP matching program. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Guelph, ON, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days on-site. A valid driver's license is required for regular site visits.
