Subway Store Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Operations Supervisor to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a Subway Store Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sandwich artists and providing legendary service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency
  • Complete all necessary reports and other administrative tasks as required
  • Have a familiarity with Subway operations and supervise the sandwich artists in their daily duties
  • Prepare food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner
  • Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards during food preparation, service, and clean up
  • Order and receive merchandise and perform opening and closing duties for the Subway
  • Operate point-of-sale and other electronic devices to process sales and payments
  • Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or a combination of relevant experience; food service experience in a supervisory role, especially in the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS), is preferred
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills and the ability to successfully motivate and work with team members
  • Honest and trustworthy, results-oriented, and proud of the work that you do
  • Well-organized and capable of attaining a high level of production with a minimum amount of supervision
  • Familiar with food safe practices and procedures
  • Attentive to detail and able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment
  • Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
