Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Agricultural Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, promoting our products and services, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our members and customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote our products and services, including agricultural supplies, feed, and equipment, to our customers and members.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, working closely with our sales team to achieve our business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers and members, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Assist with the receiving, stocking, and merchandising of products, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Operate a forklift and skid steer, as required, to move products and equipment around the store.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with inventory management and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail or sales environment, preferably in the agriculture sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural products and services, including feed, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license required.
