Trucking Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and reliable Trucking Operations Coordinator to join our team at ABS Trucking Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials across various locations
- Ensure the vehicle is in good condition, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment before each trip
- Manage payments for goods and perform brake adjustments as needed
- Perform emergency roadside repairs and conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency
- Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including preventive maintenance and record-keeping
- Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay important information
- Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of cargo by tarping and monitoring conditions throughout the journey
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliability and strong organizational skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Permanent position with 40-50 hours per week
