Executive Director Opportunity

The Citadel Theatre is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its next Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the operational components of the theatre, working in partnership with the Artistic Director to drive strategic priorities and build public and private sector support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the operational components of the theatre, including finance, human resources, and facilities management.
  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with the theatre's mission and vision.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, donors, and community partners.
  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to support the theatre's programs and operations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the theatre's staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of leadership and management experience in the arts or a related field.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
