Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a talented QE Automation Specialist to join our team at GFT, a part of RBC's Technology and Operations division. As a QE Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in delivering high-performing applications and collaborating with partners across the company to innovate and transform IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirement documents and business user stories.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using test automation tools.
  • Execute test cases, document test results, and raise defects as necessary.
  • Work with JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test case management, defect management, and test reporting.
  • Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning, grooming sessions, stand-up meetings, demo sessions, and retrospective meetings.
  • Run E2E and integration testing.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in test automation frameworks/tools and development in Python language.
  • Database technologies and 5+ years of in-depth knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Good knowledge of QE processes, testing life cycle, SDLC, and defect management processes.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, and qTest.
