Job Title: Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician

We are seeking a skilled Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician to join our team at Cooper Equipment Rentals Limited. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our heavy-duty equipment fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Order parts and maintain inventory, ensuring that our equipment is always well-stocked and ready for use.
  • Keep maintenance records and documentation up-to-date, providing accurate and detailed reports on equipment performance and maintenance activities.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications, guaranteeing the highest quality standards.
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other maintenance work as required, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
