Key Responsibilities:

As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of construction equipment
  • Performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing equipment malfunctions, and making required repairs
  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance
  • Maintaining documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 to 3 years of mechanical experience
  • Experience working on construction equipment is an asset
  • Valid G license with clean or satisfactory driver's abstract is an asset
  • A complete set of tools (or a willingness to build one)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills
